You are walking along the water. Everything seems familiar, but you can’t tell when it was. Or if it was.

3530 kilometres is the length of the Volga. But in this exhibition, the number becomes a distance measured not in kilometres, but in pauses, dreams, promises, hopes that have not come true, but continue, drifting, to be close by.

3530 is the liminal space between what has passed and what has not come. Maybe it’s still on its way.

The exhibition was the result of a month-long summer art-residency.
